Bacon-Wrapped Dates (Stuffed with Cheese)
Ingredients:
20 pitted dates
1 pound bacon (preferable standard thickness, NOT thick)
1 Block Cream Cheese
20 toothpicks
Crumble blue cheese to taste (around 1/4 cup)
Directions:
Preheat your smoker or oven to 400 degrees F
Cut bacon in half
Mix cream cheese and blue cheese together
Add cream cheese mixture to a sandwich ziplock bag
Snip a small section of one of the corners of the ziplock bag
Fill dates with cream cheese mixture
Wrap with bacon and secure with a toothpick
Place wrapped dates on a wire rack and place the wire rack on top of tinfoil lined baking sheet.
Place in the smoker or oven for 20-25 minutes or until bacon is brown and cooked through
Remove from oven and let cool for 5 minutes
