The Perfect Lasagna
This is the best lasagna recipe that you could ever make. Super cheesy with an out-of-this-world meat sauce. Every layer of this lasagna is a burst of flavor. I’ve been making this lasagna recipe for years and every time I make it, it’s devoured up. This is how you make lasagna.
Ingredients:
Meat sauce recipe here
1- 9oz box of oven-ready lasagna noodles
Ricotta Filling
16oz ricotta cheese
2 tablespoons fresh parsley
2 cloves of garlic, minced
1 egg
Cheeses
1 pound of sliced mozzarella
1 -15oz jar of your favorite alfredo sauce
4 oz freshly grated asiago cheese
2 oz of freshly shaved parmigiano reggiano
Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees
In an aluminum pan ( I use the size 12.75"L x 10.375"W x 2.562"H) or your favorite lasagna pan add 1/2 cup of meat sauce to the bottom and evenly spread out.
Layer in the following order: 3 noodles, 1/4 ricotta filling, 1/4 alfredo sauce, 1/4 sliced mozzarella, 3/4 cup of meat sauce, 1/4 asiago cheese. Repeat this for a total of 4 layers.
On the final layer add the shaved Parmigiano Reggiano on top.
Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes
Remove the aluminum foil and bake for another 10 minutes or until bubbly and cheese is lightly browned
Remove from the oven and let the lasagna rest for at least 15-20 minutes.
