Fried Rice with Spam!!!!
This isn’t hyperbole, this is the greatest fried rice recipe ever. It is a meal on it’s own but, pairs extremely well with beef bulgogi. Maybe pour a little yum yum sauce on top. It’s amazing.
Ingredients:
3 cups of cooked rice.
12oz spam diced
1/2 cup diced onions
2 teaspoons minced garlic (about 2 cloves)
1 teaspoon minced ginger
2 large eggs (beaten)
2 tablespoons chopped green onions
1 1/2 cup of frozen vegetables of your choice(peas, carrots, corn, etc...)
1 1/2 tablespoons soy sauce
1/2 tablespoon fish sauce
1/4 teaspoon sesame oil
1/4 white pepper
Instructions:
Cook spam until it turns light brown
Add the onions. Cook for 2 to 3 minutes
Add garlic and ginger. Cook for 30 seconds
Add frozen peas and carrots. Cook for 5 minutes or until peas and carrots are completely thawed
Add cooked rice. Stir.
Add soy sauce, fish sauce, sesame oil, and white pepper. Stir.
Scramble eggs in a seperate pan
Add eggs to the fried rice stir together
Splash a bit of soy sauce if necessary
Add green onions.
Stir one more time
Serve with Beef Bulgogi
