Macaroni and Cheese!!!!!

This is an absolutley delcious recipe for macaroni and cheese. It's simple to make and be made in less than 15 mins. The hardest part is shredding the cheese. Which you should do, because... exercise.

Ingredients

  • I box (16 ounce of elbow macaroni)

  • 1 1/4 cup of warm heavy whipping cream (heated up in the microwave)

  • 3 Tb of butter

  • 2 tsp salt

  • 1 tsp of freshly ground pepper

  • 12 oz of freshly shredded cheese

  • 1 oz of cream cheese

  • 4 slices of american cheese cut into smaller squares

  • 4 cups of water

  • 6 slices of cooked and roughly chopped bacon

  • *Optional ingredients 2oz of diced green chilis (from a can) *2 tsps of your favorite BBQ seasoning. I used Meatchurch's Honey Hog BBQ

Instructions:

  • Inside the instant pot, place the macaroni, water, salt, pepper and butter.

  • Set instant pot on 4 minutes manual

  • manual release pressure(quick release)

  • Turn off instant pot

  • After that is done, take lid off and strain excess water

  • Add warm heavy whipping cream

  • Stir and slowly add cheese as it melts

  • Add bacon

  • *Optional add green chilis and/or bbq seasoning Enjoy!

*Without an InstantPot all you need to do is cook your pasta till it’s aldente, strain water and follow the rest of the instruction. Do NOT turn heat back on as you add the rest of the ingredients, this will cause the cheese to become gritty.
