Pink Pasta
This is one of my all time favorite pasta dishes. It is really easy to make and will impress anyone that you make if for. Pair this with the Cheesy garlic bread and you have yourself one of the best meals you can eat.
Ingredients:
1lb Italian sausage
1 medium size white onion
4 cloves of garlic
1 can of 29 oz tomato puree
1 cup heavy whipping cream
1- 8oz bag of Mozzarella Cheese
1 pound bag of rigatoni
Salt/Pepper/Oregano (to taste)
Olive Oil
Directions
To make the sauce you cut up the onion into cubes.
In a large medium hot pan (lightly coated with olive oil) add onions and garlic
Cook until they start to get a little transparent.
Add pieces of the Italian sausage.
Cook all together until the sausage is cooked all the way through
Add tomato puree and whipping cream with the other ingredients in the pan
Add salt, pepper and oregano to taste.
Let sauce simmer for at least 30 minutes
While the sauce is cooking boil the rigatoni noodles until they are al dente.
Drain the noodles then place them in a large mixing bowl.
Pour the cheese on top of the noodles in the bowl then add the sauce.
Mix all together and enjoy!!
